I’m all about that head knowledge.

Of course our faith is about living it out more than “knowing” something.

But one day your faith will truly be tested with some hard questions. People are going to say what we believe is a fairy tale. They aren’t going to listen to responses like, “well I prayed about it.” Or, “it’s just something I feel is true.”

We know what you mean when you say that as a Christian. We get that. But outsiders will laugh.

Isn’t it good to know that you actually stand on a lot of logic and reasoning? That the Christian faith is built on facts and evidence? That your faith is the only “religion” that cannot be disputed or refuted?

DO NOT BE INSECURE. FACTS:

  • I have never met anyone that has actually investigated Christianity and is still able to come against it.
  • The more I’ve learned about other religions, the more I realize how fake they are and how real ours is.
  • False religions (anything other than Christianity) only thrive in environments of ignorance.

How about this—-being able to take a stance and destroy all of a non-believer’s arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God (2 Cor 10:5), leaves atheists, agnostics, and other non-believers with nothing to stand on. What does this do? It opens the door for the Gospel.

Wonder if your role in someone’s life is to break down their strongholds and prepare their heart for God to swoop in?

DON’T BE OVERWHELMED!

You don’t have to know all the answers. You just need to know there are answers. You definitely do not want to be ignorant.

In the least bit you know my famous tactic…

When someone catches you off guard…

  • Ask questions.
  • Tell them to convince you of what they believe.
  • Where did you get that info? How do you know such and such is true?
  • And truly understand the Resurrection. Take people to this and tell them to honestly investigate.
  • The apostles and disciples all changed because of the Resurrection and reappearance of Jesus Christ. They were eye-witnesses to this. It’s safe to say that we should be too!

Anyways…

All to say here is a perfect video to feel more confident about engaging with Muslims, and/or in the least bit, to not be afraid that they can convert you.

Muhammad didn’t appear on the scene until 600 years after Jesus.

He was exiled and Jewish people thought he was crazy.

As a result, he used brute force to grow his man-made religion.

When I studied how the Quran came about and the belief systems of these followers, not to be mean, but my first thought was, “what a joke! How could people fall for this?!”

You should also know who David Wood is. He was a hardcore atheist. He was psychotic. Actually tried to murder his own father. Converted in prison when a hardcore Christian dismantled his belief system. He helped dismantle Nabeel Quareshi’s belief system as a Muslim. Nabeel wrote the excellent book “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus.”
